Eleven students from Ridgewood High School performed as part of the Bergen County Band, organized by the Musical Educators of Bergen County, Inc. (MEBCI).
Selection for the Bergen County Band is an honor; participants must audition on a selected band piece and on scales.
Once selected, the musicians went through an intense week of practice to prepare their concert debut.

The students (pictured, left, with RHS Director of Bands Jeff Haas) are: Edward Prettyman, Jessica Chang, Kathryn Leung, Austin Kim, Stephanie Pizza, Shayna Lyandvert, Leo Kwon,Miranda Canilang, Halina Maas, Yunseok Choi and Carly Ayukawa.
