Ridgewood Parking Garage Construction Closures Start Monday

Closures will be in effect through June 2020, according to the village.

RIDGEWOOD – Starting Monday, the Hudson Street municipal lot will be shut down through June 2020 to allow for the construction of a brand new 240-space garage to provide additional parking in the downtown for shoppers, diners, employees and commuters.

During work, the sidewalk adjacent to the parking lot will be closed to foot traffic and pedestrians must use the sidewalk on the opposite side of Hudson Street, according to the village.

Hudson Street will remain open to vehicles during the first part of construction but will be shut down to cars for a period of between six to eight weeks in late 2019 or early 2020, the village said.
