RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Village public schools will open 2 hours later than normal Thursday due to the sub-freezing temperatures that continue to blanket North Jersey. "Please keep in mind that snow drifts, icy roads and walkways may cause additional delays," disrict officials said. "For students who are walking to school or to bus stops, please allow extra time and use caution." Students who did not order lunch must bring a bag lunch. Glen Rock schools will open at their normally scheduled times. Here is the forecast from the National Weather Service for the rest of the week: <ul><li>Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 16. Wind chill values as low as -14. West wind 11 to 14 mph.</li><li>Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 6. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind 7 to 10 mph.</li><li>Friday: A slight chance of snow after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. West wind 5 to 7 mph.
