Ridgewood Coach Wins Honor For Second Year In A Row

A Ridgewood coach has won an honor for the second year in a row.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood High School swim coach Kyle Schulke has been named Big North Conference Swimming Coach of the
Year, marking the second consecutive year he has received the honor and his sixth year leading the Maroons' program, a district spokesperson said.

The award came at the end of a season in which Schulke guided the Ridgewood boys to a sectional title. The team had a 9-3 overall record.

Director Keith Cook said, "We are incredibly proud of Coach Schulke and the entire boys' swimming program. His dedication to the student-athletes, strategic coaching, and positive influence have been instrumental in the team's success."

In addition to Schulke's recognition, the Ridgewood Boys’ Swimming team was also named the All-County Team of the Year, the district said.

"This recognition truly reflects the hard work, commitment, and talent of our swimmers,” Schulke said. “Winning the sectional title this year,
after making it to the final several times, is an incredible accomplishment for these young men. I'm also thrilled that the boys were named All-County Team of the Year – it's a fantastic acknowledgement of their collective efforts."

Schulke has coached at Ridgewood for six years.
