Ridgewood's Village Council Approves Purcahse of $23K Boiler for Firehouse

Ridgewood’s Village Council approved to replace the main firehouse’s boiler and purchase a new one for $23,000, citing the current boiler’s water leaks.
The Village Council approved a contract to have the boiler replaced and also approved the funding of rental of equipment to keep the building warm, according to NorthJersey.com
The Council also granted $17,500 to cover temporary heating costs in case the boiler breaks before it is replaced. The money will also be used to bring in portable heaters during the time it will take to remove the current boiler and install the new one.
