Saturday: Easter Activities Throughout Day

1) Easter may be Sunday, but Saturday will have all sorts of fun activities for the kids sponsored by the chamber of commerce. At 10 a.m. there will be a breakfast at Smith Brothers and afterward, through 2:00 p.m. a whole host of things to do, including a parade through the CBD and opportunities for kids to take photos with the Easter Bunny. A trolley will shuffle folks around the downtown as well.

2) The Unitarian Society is holding the of the Painting Affiliates of Northern New Jersey. Thirty-one painters are a member of the organization and will be showing works at the opening presentation from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

3) The girls lacrosse team is taking on another at 1:30 p.m. in a home game. MSG Varsity is televising the game on Channel 14 on iO.

4) Children’s author and illustrator Paula Polacco will stop by Ridgewood elementary schools in early May. She'll be giving a special presentation to adults on Monday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. at G.W. to discuss heroes in her life. All district parents are invited to attend.
