Saturday: Huge Girls LAX Game in Long Island

1) The Ridgewood girls lacrosse team, ranked the #3 team in the country by MaxPreps, is taking on #8 St. Anthony's of Long Island in a game out of state.

2) The neighborhood of John and Wyndemere will be holding the second day of its block sale to help raise money for the Concerned Residents of Ridgewood with plants, a piano, bicycles and more. The sale will go on from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

3) Head to the Mayfair at Travell from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be games, prizes, inflatables, food, a dunk tank, obstacle course and more. The event helps raise funds for Travell.

4) The Ridgewood Guild is encouraging folks to celebrate their moms by shopping in the village.

5) There's a slight chance of showers early in the morning and thunderstorms after noon (but only 20 percent). Otherwise, it should be partially sunny with a high around 69.
