October snowstorm will take away April break if there are more snow days, superintendent says
Ridgewood Public Schools Superintendent Daniel Fishbein reported at the last school board meeting that students are , and will have to make time up in April if the flakes fall again.
According to Fishbein, the two extra days built into the school calendar for emergency closures were used on Monday (10/31) and Tuesday (11/1). and Glen School remained as well.
As a result, should any more snow days be needed, the district will need to make up the closures on its April recess. The district will take away days beginning on April 13, a Friday, and work backward, Fishbein said.
