Village Shredding Away on Saturday

If you're looking around your files thinking, "I'd hate for this to be seen by the wrong eyes," you might want to head to the on Saturday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The village is playing host to an on-site paper shredding company that can chop up cancelled checks, computer printouts, copy paper of all colors, envelopes, letterhead, and stationary. But don't bring binders, plastics, overnight shipping paper, carbon paper and well, just about any other non-paper items.

The event will be held rain or shine. The village is not being charged for the service, which is being fronted by the Bergen County Utilities Authority.

The Recycling Center is located at 205 E. Glen Avenue.
