Swastika Discovered In Glen Rock Park, Cops Say

DPW workers have since painted over the symbol, which was discovered on a rock in the park.

GLEN ROCK, NJ – Police are looking into how a swastika wound up painted on a rock in Sycamore Park, according to authorities.

On Wednesday afternoon, a woman walking in the park discovered the graffiti, which police said was about 12 inches in diameter, on a rock near a fallen tree limb in the park.

Police said it is unknown how long the graffiti had been present and department of public works employees have since painted over the symbol.

A bias incident offense report was filed, however, at this time, detectives do not have any evidence to identify who painted the swastika or when it occurred.
