This Week: Budget Showdown in Ridgewood

The Ridgewood Village Council will  this week, voting on Wednesday whether to pass a 3.8 percent increase to the local tax levy. 

Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh was the lone dissenting voice during the introduction. She has to date not specified the disagreements she has with various allocations, but has questioned the village's liability in property tax appeals. That fun time kicks off at 7 p.m.

Glen Rock's school board will meet at 8 p.m. on Monday in what will be the final meeting for Superintendent David Verducci. The contract for Board Administrator Michael Rinerknecht is expected to be renewed.
