BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for Bergen County from 11:10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, with up to an inch of rain expected to fall.
A heavy downpour is most likely between 1 and 3 p.m., forecasters say. Severe storms can occur any time before 10 p.m., the NWS predicts.

For those traveling, Hurricane Beryl has formed in the Caribbean and has reached dangerous Category 4. It's not expected to move toward New Jersey as of now, but is expected to move west through the Windward Islands, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands. Track the storm here.
