Thursday: An Irish Thursday in Ridgewood, RHS New Players Opening Night

Corned beef, beer and beautiful weather . . . what more could you ask for?

1) You may have guessed by the headline that it's St. Patrick's Day. Typically, this is a day in which people spend much of their day at bars, especially Irish bars. Luckily, and are open and have Irish treats.

2) Head to . Sponsored by the local Knights of Columbus, the mass will feature traditional Irish tunes and piper music.  There will be complimentary soda bread, coffee and tea after the mass. Mass starts at 8:30 a.m.

3) The kicks off tonight at RHS at 8:00 p.m. The longest-running musical on Broadway, this one is directed by Kelly Van Zile.

4) RHS Winter Guard at 7:00 p.m. at the high school. The Winter Guard will be interpreting Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. The event is free and held in RHS Gym 1.

5) The Venn Center will be holding a number of discussions on Thursday, including one on to get the individual where they want to go, at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $35 per session.
