Thursday: Graydon Badge Sales Up

Badge sales for non-residents are up double that of last year, according to Park and Rec Deputy Director Nancy Bigos

1) Non-Ridgewood Graydon badge sales are up double what they were last year at this time, Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh reported to the Village Council after hearing word from Nancy Bigos, the Deputy Parks & Rec Director. That's a good thing, Walsh reported, but it also means those new families aren't familiar with Graydon's policies and rules.

2) Walsh also reported in her Parks & Rec Committee report that the skate park was recently vandalized, which shuttered it for a few days while crews cleaned it.

3) It's the second day of the Ridgewood Co-op scholastic book fair. Head over to Ridgewood United Methodist Church from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for the kid-friendly fair.

4) Discussion of the stormwater easement ordinance has been pushed back to June 1, Village Manager Ken Gabbert told the council at its Wednesday night work session.

5) The council held a very, very brief discussion in which Gabbert discussed that in 2009, Ridgewood Water never completed payment for a Corrosion Control Study, worth just under $3,000.
