Thursday: NY Times Bestselling Children's Author at Library on Wintry Day

Doreen Cronin will be signing copies of her new book at 4:00 p.m.

1) The , New York Times bestselling author of The Trouble with Chickens at 4:00 p.m. Cronin will be discussing her humor book in this partnership with Bookends. Cronin will be signing books at the event, which will be available for purchase at Bookends.

2) The village council introduced Blais Brancheau's at Wednesday night's council meeting. Council members Mayor Killion, Councilwoman Bernadette Walsh and Councilman Paul Aronsohn voted to introduce it for first reading; the public session will be April 13. Deputy Mayor Riche voted against the introduction.

3) Three RHS student chamber music ensembles have been selected to perform in the 28th Annual Young Musician's Concert at Lincoln Center on April 14. While admission is free, tickets are required, and those interested should contact RHS Bands Director Jeff Haas for tickets at jhaas@ridgewood.k12.nj.us.

4) Be damned, calendars! It may officially be spring, but it's anything but Spring-like with snow and wintry mixes throughout Wednesday and a bit more snowfall possible Thursday. There will be an occasional drizzle, snow, and freezing drizzle before 11 a.m., then a chance of rain to follow, according to forecasts. The high will be around 43 degrees on Thursday and snowfall accumulation should not reach over a half-inch.

5) Frank Dunne will be discussing the at the library at 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
