"We want to welcome this wonderful family business to Ridgewood," village deputy mayor Pam Perron said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — "Tide's In — Dirt's Out" in Ridgewood.

A new Tide dry cleaner has officially opened in the village, and purports to offer "quality and convenience" to its clients, according to the website.

"Visit our location and see how we strive to be the best dry cleaner and laundry service in the Ridgewood area," the store said on the website.

The ribbon was cut on the 67 Godwin Avenue store in a grand-opening event Friday, amid a crowd of local officials, supporters, friends and family members.

"We want to welcome this wonderful family business to Ridgewood," said village deputy mayor Pam Perron, who cut the ribbon. "(Owner Lou Pacifico) is so innovative, and sets a good example for all of our businesses."

Pacifico opened the store on Godwin after a decade of trying to find the right spot, he said at the ribbon cutting.

"When this (location) became available, it was exactly what we wanted, and it is right in the heart of town," the store owner and father of two said.

He and his family were welcomed by the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce at the event, wherein president Gary Kolesaire wished them lots of success.

The village location is now one of four stores owned by Pacifico, who opened his first Tide dry cleaner in Summit in 2015, regional manager Chris Monasterio said Friday.

"We are happy to be here in Ridgewood," Monasterio said.

Ridgewood's Tide Cleaners offers 24/7 dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up, drive-thru valet service, and home and office delivery, the store said on the website.

"So, come on by to Tide," Chamber board member Scott Lief said at the grand opening. "Bring your dirty laundry — like my son does when he comes home from college."
