Pet Bird Left at Glen Rock Middle School

Someone's pet bird was found by Principal Edward Thompson atop a locker on Wednesday.

A concerned resident who took the bird home is asking the owner to contact them to be reunited with their pet.

The bird in question is a peach-faced lovebird, the resident told Patch, adding the bird has a cage and a good supply of food and water. The lovebird is in good condition, she said.

"I am sure it is someone's pet. Someone out there is sad that their pet bird flew out!" the resident remarked.
