Tuesday: District Still Wants to Hear Your Thoughts on Budget

Schoolhouse Museum wins another award as well

1) The Ridgewood school district is having its second Budget meetings with Finance Committee head (and school board VP) Bob Hutton, Board President Michele Lenhard and Assistant Superintendent of Business Angelo DeSimone. The trio will be at the Education Center at 7:30 p.m. to answer questions the general public may have on the budget. The previous meeting drew a crowd of about a dozen people.

2) Ridgewood Historical Society President Sheila Brogan reported this past weekend that the Schoolhouse Museum is the recipient of another award. The League of Historical Societies of New Jersey issued a first place award to the museum, Brogan said.

3) If you're hep cat and have $45, head over on Route 4 to Chakra, where the RHS Jazz Band will be performing with special guest Michael Philip Mossman, a Latin Grammy nominated trumpeter, trombonist and composer. The $45 includes dinner.
