Tuesday: Star Wars Takes Over Ridgewood

1) Put your Darth Vader mask on and head to Bookends, where Star Wars characters in helmeted costumes along with a working, life-sized R2-D2 will be meeting at 4:30 p.m. Author Jason Fry and illustrator Chris Reiff, the costumed characters of the 501st Legion, and members of the R2 Builders Club Star Wars Event will be there. Prizes will be given out.

2) The Ridgewood Board of Adjustment will meet Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. The agenda has not been posted online.

3) There will be a dog rabies clinic on May 25 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Recycling Center on East Glen.

4) The Ridgewood boys varsity tennis team will be playing against arch-rival Paramus at 4:00 p.m. in Paramus. The varsity lacrosse boys will be taking on power Summit at RHS Stadium at 4:30 p.m.

5) Rear-yard pickup will be on the East Side on Tuesday with yard waste pickup in Area B and commingled and cardboard in Area 2.
