Wednesday: Big Council Meeting

Budget hearing, parking, fields and more

1) The Ridgewood Village Council is gearing up for what may be the biggest meeting of this calendar year. On the agenda is the resolution to parking in the CBD (if there ever is one), the revised Fields Use policy vote, the public budget hearing, recognition of brave emergency services personnel and more. The meeting begins at 8:00 p.m. Check back for a more detailed preview of the meeting later.

2) The West Siders are seeing curbside bulk refuse taken as well as batteries, tires and other assorted items taken on Wednesday.

3) Project Pride is looking for volunteers, so give Chairman Gary Cirillo a call at (201) 310-4208. The Committee, sponsored by Parks and Rec, helps with plantings and holiday decorations throughout the village. The volunteer time, according to a group statement, "is flexible and very rewarding."
