Wednesday: Council to Discuss Fast Food Zoning Ordinance; Real Housewife to Discuss Diets

The elected officials will talk food-on-the-go and sidewalk cafes beginning at 7:30 p.m.

1) The village council will hold a special monthly public meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, with an introduction of the COAH draft ordinance. The work session will feature discussions on sidewalk cafes, fast food, liquor license transfers, the parking saga and more.

2) Two big names will be at Bookends on Wednesday. , a village resident, will be on hand for a book signing of his new novel Live Wire at 6:00 p.m. Then at 7:30 stick around for , one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, sign her new book, . The book is part of Frankel's burgeoning Skinnygirl empire of "shapewear," already-bottled low-calorie booze (seriously), a diet book, TV show and more. She's not expected to weigh in on Village Planner Blais Brancheau's COAH ordinance, sources report.

3) A BFMS who doubles as a part-time college professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Bergen Community College, Jacqueline DiChiara, will be at Bergen Community College on Monday presenting a personal poem to Women's History Month keynote speaker Gloria Steinem. The poem is said to have been inspired by Steinem. RHS debate students are expected to attend.

4) Per the latest edition of rps eNews, Boys Track Head Coach Josh Saladino reported that the boys distance medley team placed a breathtaking 7th at nationals at the New Balance Indoor National Championships. The time, he said, is the second fastest in county history.

5) The American Red Cross Northern NJ chapter in Ridgewood from 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m.
