Wednesday: Council, Young Golfers Meet

1) The council will be meeting at the dais at 7:30 p.m. for its work session. Among the agenda items are discussions on when Valley proceedings will begin, parking in the CBD, as well as stormwater drain easements, and more. Be there at the Sydney Stoldt Court Room for all the meeting happenings.

2) The boys varsity lacrosse team is taking on highly-regarded Don Bosco Prep at 4:15 p.m. at home on Wednesday. Additionally, the varsity tennis, baseball and softball teams are all matched up with rival Paramus.

4) Circle May 14 on your calendars, folks. The Orchard Elementary Community Garage Sale will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5) The Parks and Rec Department is offering a cool-sounding golf instructional program with another kicking off on Wednesday. Grades K-3 should show up for 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Grades 4-8 from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Total Golf Adventures of Bergen County is holding the event at Habernickel Park on Hillcrest Road.
