Wednesday: State Senator, Snooki Visit

1) The Village Council will be meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night. In case you're wondering, yes, the council is still working through Irene issues. On the agenda is emergency declarations made to the streets division and the water pollution control division to fix major systems damaged in Irene.

2) Reality TV star Snooki will be at Bookends at 5 p.m. promoting her new book Confessions of a Guidette. Expect huge lines, big hair and oompah loompah orange tans.

3) Village officials and residents will be taking . We'll bring you what happened during the visit on Thursday.

4) The boys soccer team will look to beat Paramus again this season on Wednesday night. The two play in Ridgewood at 6 p.m. The boys won 2-0 on Wednesday and with the victory, already won its league. Congrats, guys!

5) There will be a chance of light rain Wednesday, mainly after 8 a.m. Otherwise it will be cloudy with a high near 64. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent, the National Weather Service predicts.
