Wednesday: Village Council to Hear School Board-Approved Fields Use Policy
Council meets for its monthly public meeting on Ash Wednesday; check out a few other things going on today.

1) The at 8:00 p.m. for its regularly scheduled public meeting. The Fields Committee will be presenting its pitch on the field policy, which was voted for approval on Monday night by the board of education, according to the agenda. The public hearing will also feature discussions on Graydon fees, salary ordinance fixing, meter readers and an energy audit.
2) Head over to neighboring Ho-Ho-Kus for an engaging look at the historic Hopper family, one of the first families in the area at The Hermitage Museum.
3) Two churches have something going on Wednesday. Christ Church will be holding a pancake supper. There will also be an Ash Wednesday service at noon at Ridgewood United Methodist Church.

4) The YMCA and Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce is holding a joint business networking session with a host of other chambers at 6:00 p.m.
5) Blend will have $3 Wednesday with DJ Brian Sean along with a poker tournament with two sessions from 7:30 through 11:30 p.m.
