Tuesday, April 4

Library officials are asking the council to not just keep the budget flat, but increase the budget up to $62,000 to prevent closures in 2012-2013.

Wednesday, April 4

Three Buddhist monks blessed the Ridgewood Coffee Company, spreading good karma over lattes and a traditional Thai meal.

Thursday, April 5

The former high school principal said school board candidate Jim Morgan would bring scrutiny, a fresh perspective, and transparency to the Ridgewood Board of Education.

Glen Rock officials are pleased the bid to fix long-standing drainage issues and revitalize the high school athletic complex came in significantly under budget. 

Village Manager Ken Gabbert said he'll be making a full presentation to the council on the updated storm response plans as well as the new leaf collection procedures.

Due to delays in construction and seeding, athletics at the new village complex will be delayed through late summer, early fall, according to officials.
