Results Of Windy Weekend: 6 Locations Were Damaged In Glen Rock In 1 Day
A storm on Presidents' Day weekend resulted in damage to at least 7 properties in Glen Rock.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — High winds on the Sunday and Monday of Presidents' Day weekend caused at least seven Glen Rock properties to be damaged by trees or debris, police in that town said.
Police were sent to six locations on Monday, Feb. 17 alone, police said, not to mention an incident the day before in which a tree fell onto a house on Durham Place, rendering it temporarily unliveable.
Police said, "As a result of weather-related conditions, officers responded to six different locations to investigate damage done by falling trees and flying debris."

They said that on Presidents' Day:
- Two homes and one motor vehicle on Henry Street were damaged due to a falling tree.
- A home on South Highwood had vinyl siding dislodged due to high winds.
- A vehicle parked in the Central Business District was damaged by an awning that came loose from a storefront.
- A home on George Road was damaged due to a falling tree limb.
- A fence belonging to a Brookfield Avenue resident was damaged by a falling tree.
None of the homes involved on Monday were structurally compromised, and there were no injuries, police said.

All of the matters were documented for insurance purposes, police said.
