UPDATE: Photos Released of Armed Woman - Or Is It A Man? - Who Stole $120K From Glen Rock Bank

The woman was wearing a bright red wig when she walked in, entered the bank's vault, and possibly took as much as $120,000.

Police have released photos of a woman - or was it a man? - who allegedly committed an armed robbery at the Glen Rock Saving’s Bank Wednesday morning and took at least $112,000 in a Louis Vuitton while holding a gun.

The big debate among news agencies and readers, however, was the gender of the suspect. Was it a woman or was it a man?

The suspect, who was wearing a red wig, allegedly committed the crime at 10:25 a.m. while in the bank’s vault, according to Cliffview Pilot, who also reports the woman could have possibly taken as much as $120,000.

Glen Rock Police say the suspect is about 5’ 7” with a medium build and was wearing “a red wig, black coat, white boots or some type of white material pulled down over the boots.”

The gun was recovered in a nearby snow bank and authorities suspect the woman fled in a vehicle parked by the train station.

According to NorthJersey.com, Glen Rock and Ridgewood Police were at the scene, along with the FBI and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.
