BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Garfield man was arrested and charged after authorities discovered he had more than 2,000 files of child porn and distributed hundreds of them online, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.Justin L. Macancela, 22, was charged with possession of child pornography in an amount greater than 1,000 files and distribution of child pornography in an amount greater than 25 files, Musella said.Authorities investigated Macancela and learned that he used the internet to view and download more than 2,000 digital files showing nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, Musella said. Macancela also shared more than 500 files online, he said.Macancela was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, the prosecutor said.<hr />Email: daniel.hubbard@patch.com
