Caracozza Takes Bat, Glove to Wesley

The former Lady Hawks centerfielder will don a Wolverines uniform next spring

Over her athletic career on the diamond with the River Dell Lady Hawks, Stephanie Caracozza's role as a utility player served her teammates well as she rotated between three positions over four years: right field, catcher and center field. She will now take her talents to the Wesley Wolverines next spring where she could very well end up in any fielding position.

Standing at 5'1", she earned the spot as lead-off hitter following her freshman year and has remained there having batted over .300 each season. This past season she led the Lady Hawks with 40 hits, 20 runs and 17 RBIs. She also has an average .930 fielding percentage.

During her high school career, she was named to the All-League list each year and All-County in 2011 and 2012. She helped lead the Lady Hawks to the state tournament four years in a row and as BCSL-American champions her freshman and sophomore years.
