Cherry Hill Focuses on Respect
River Edge students participated in a variety of events all week to promote respect among one another
Last week, Cherry Hill school participated in a week of respect, drawing attention to being kind to each other and acting respectful. To conclude their week of activities, they had an enrichment last Friday with magician Jim Vagias.
Vagias presented "Bully-Proof Your School" which used magic, humor, storytelling and audience participation to engage students imaginations and teach them life affirming messages. The program focuses on teaching students character traits that will not only make them better people, but will create an environment in school where there will be no room for bullies.
Students also participated in School Pride Day, Make a New Friend Day, Go Green Day, Switch Day and Unique Day last week.
