First Friday - Temple Avodat Shalom

Temple Avodat Shalom, 385 Howland Avenue in River
Edge, celebrates Shabbat with dinner and services for all ages on November 4th, as well as the "First Friday" of every month. 

At 6pm, Tot Shabbat is held for children under 6 and their families. Shabbat dinner at 6:30 for members and the community in the social hall, with a teen dinner also being held in the youth lounge. Advance reservations and fee required. 

Family service will start at 7:30, led by the sixth grade class with junior choir. There is also an alternative lay-led service at 7:30 in the library. Non-members are
always welcome to Shabbat services.
