The Woman's Clubs of Emerson and Oradell are joining together in a Service Day Project that will benefit the Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus.
Ladies from the participating clubs will be soliciting for goods on Saturday, October 8 in front of the Stop N Shop in Emerson and on Sunday, October 9 in front of the Emerson Shop Rite from 8am to 3pm.
The residents of the Veterans Memorial Home live on a fixed living allowance. While their health needs are met, there is a need for personal care items and basic clothing. It is to this area of their needs that is the focus of the 2011 Day of Service project for all the New Jersey State Federated Woman's Clubs.

Please make sure you stop by to pick up a list of items needed by the Veteran's Home. Monetary donations for this project can also be made to the Book & Needle Woman's Club of Oradell or Emerson's Woman's Club and mailed to P.O Box 102, Oradell, NJ 07649.
