Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County will of four new Habitat Bergen homes to be built on the corner of Lake Avenue and Westervelt Place in Oradell at a community outreach meeting on Monday, 7pm in the gymnasium. Greek mythology goes topsy-turvey at River Dell this weekend as the student-led drama club presents its fall play, "" on November 17, 18, and 19, at 7pm in the . Student narrators Dan Salerno and Elissa Hickey attempt to cover the entirety of Greek mythology using audience participation, cross-dressing, and general theatrical insanity.
River Edge will hold it’s on Saturday, November 19, 9am to 2pm at parking lot. Organized by Sheridan Ogden and the Social Concerns Committee of St. Peter the Apostle Church the drive will be collecting frozen turkeys for neighbors in need.

Noted military historian Todd W. Braisted kicks off the weekend event on Nov. 19, 7pm, by presenting new research on the British invasion, disclosing the identities of British guides who accompanied British forces, the discovery of the American officer who warned the garrison, and description of the pitched battle that nearly occurred between the British and Americans that night.
On Nov. 20, from 11am to 4pm, members of various living history groups, representing both sides of the conflict, will perform military demonstrations, showing the life and times of the common soldier of the American Revolution. At 1pm, Braisted will speak in the Steuben House on the raising and history of the 4th Battalion, New Jersey Volunteers, Bergen County’s Loyalist unit, which was formed at New Bridge in the days immediately following the British Invasion.
State Tournaments
Friday, Nov. 18, 7pm: Third seeded RiverDell heads to 2nd seeded Ramsey in the second round football tournament. In the regular season, the Hawks defeated the Rams, 31-0 during the regular season.
Saturday, Nov. 19, 1pm: The second seeded Crusaders will host rival St. Peter's Prep at home in the state tournament. Coming off a 48-14 romp over Notre Dame, the Maruaders are looking to revenge a regular season loss to Bergen Catholic. BC is coming off a two-week bye into the tournament.
Saturday, Nov. 19, 2pm: It's been a dream season for the River Dell volleyball team who once again heads to William Paterson University in Wayne. As the number 5 seed in the Tournament of Champions, the Lady Hawks will face 4th seeded Bogota. The winner will have a 5pm date with IHA.
