Letter: Taste of Oradell Grateful to Donors

On May 18^th, a fundraising event, titled “A Taste of Oradell (and vicinity)” was held to ensure that every Oradell student entering 5^th grade would have the opportunity to participate in a trip to the Sharpe Reservation to learn about various aspects of the environment. 

This trip has been a 30 year tradition for the 5^th grade class, however, because funding was eliminated a couple of years ago, it is up to the community to make sure that no child will be unable to attend because of the cost of the trip. 

The ad hoc committee which was put together to coordinate this fundraiser would like to report that as a result of this event, we were able to raise $12,000 towards our goal of $30,000.
