N.Y. Waterway Ferry Offers Summer Discount, Kids Ride Free

Do you want to go to Manhattan for NYC Restaurant Week, but don't feel like dealing with city traffic and parking? NY Waterway ferries is offering all food enthusiasts a delicious, hassle-free, traffic-free cruise to get you there.
NYC Restaurant Week, running now through August 16, comes with a summer discount from NY Waterway. Specially priced $13 round-trip tickets, a $5 discount, are offered between Port Imperial in Weehawken, NJ and West 39th Street in Manhattan. NY Waterway’s Summer Fare also includes a $2 discount on parking at Port Imperial and kids 12 and under ride free when accompanied by an adult.
When passengers arrive at the West 39th Street ferry terminal, free, connecting multi-route NY Waterway buses are waiting to take them throughout Manhattan. When it’s time to head back to the terminal, passengers can wave down a NY Waterway bus from the public bus stops along any one of five routes and can also check the free NY Waterway App on most hand-held devices to see in real time exactly where the buses are.
