Jim McGovern (pictured right) of Oradell, PGA Professional at White Beeches Golf &amp; Country Club in Haworth, won the Cutter &amp; Buck Head Professional Championship, presented by Adams Golf &amp; Bushnell, on April 29, at Metuchen Golf &amp; Country Club. The only golfer in the field to shoot under par in both rounds, McGovern finished the 36-hole event at 3-under par, 141, earning a 6-stroke victory and taking home the prestigious Walter Syring Memorial Trophy. He is joined by Kevin Syring, left, who presented the trophy at the New Jersey PGA Section event.
