Oradell School Goes to the Birds
Oradell Public School recently welcomed more than just students through its doors as students were greeted by a variety of Birds of prey
Oradell Public School students were treated to a visit from “The Raptor Project,” an extraordinary and outstanding array of "Birds of Prey" - eagles, hawks, falcons and owls displayed in an exquisite natural habitat.
The Raptor Project, was created by Jonathan and Susan Wood of New York, to increase awareness and education of these majestic birds while also providing a home for the birds which were unable to be re-introduced to the wild.
Sponsored by the OPS PTA, the assembly taught students about the birds’ lifestyles and habitats and thrilled the children as the birds took flight across the auditorium.
