Oradell swimmers participated in the Bergen County Swim Meet finals that were held Saturday in Hillsdale. The meet, sponsored by the N.J. Pool Association, consisted of a series of preliminaries held throughout the week at various swim clubs. The finalists qualified for the County meet.
The Oradell swimmers made an impressive showing:
- Conrad Hoody - 12yr: took first place in the 100m Free Style, second place in the 50m Back Stroke, fourth place in the 100m Individual Medley (IM).
- Julia Lombardi - 15yr: took third place in the 50m Breast Stroke and second place in the 50 Butterfly Stroke.
- Christopher Burnmaster - 9-10yr: took fourth place in the 100m IM.
- Gabriel Dunne - 9-10yr: took fourth place in the Breast Stroke and fifth place in the 100m IM.
- Ian Lui - 11-12yr: took fourth place in the 50m Breast Stroke and fifth place in the 100m IM.
