The River Edge Elementary schools celebrated Arbor Day Friday with outdoor celebrations at the Cherry Hill School and the Roosevelt School. The Arbor Day Committee, comprised of the River Edge Shade Tree Commission and the Women's Club River Edge, helped to create annual event.  River Edge has been awarded Tree City USA status for 14yrs. by the National Arbor Day Association.  (pictures of Cherry Hill School, Roosevelt School, Principal Vouvalides with Women's Club member Barbara Christiansen)
