Looking to step out of the box and break your routine this weekend? Despite the possibility of showers on Saturday, the weekend weather looks promising. Here are some events to check out in Bergen County this weekend:

• Peach Picking Season Opens at Demarest Farms: This highly anticipated annual event brings families from all over the area out into the orchards to pick ripened peaches from the trees. The kids will love riding on the tractor hayride through the farm's fields and picking peaches so weighted with ripeness that the branches are nearly touching the ground. And after peach picking, enjoy some fresh ice cream at the farm store. Demarest Farms is located at 244 Wierimus Road, Hillsdale.
• Ridgewood Sidewalk Sale: It's here! And it's this weekend. Ridgewood's annual sidewalk sale offers many seasonal bargains. Calling all ladies--make sure you get to Fox's--their already low prices will be even lower. Sign-up for their email and get a $10 discount coupon to be used this weekend.

• Dumont Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. W. Quackenbush and Park Ave. Dumont.
• Allendale Farmers Market: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. NJ Transit Lot, Allendale Avenue Allendale.
• Oakland Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Municipal Lot, Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland.
• Rutherford Farmers Market: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Williams Plaza, Park Avenue Rutherford.
• Fort Lee Music and Movies Under the Stars: This FREE weekly summer event brings families from all over Bergen County out to have fun under the summer stars. This week's live band, The Doughboys, will have everybody out of their seats rock'n and roll'n. The featured movie is Skyfall, James Bond's loyalty is tested and lots of action ensues as 007 tracks down and destroys every threat that comes his way, no matter how personal the cost. The band starts at 7 p.m. with the movie following. Bring a blanket and have a picnic dinner. On the great lawn of the Fort Lee Community Center, 1355 Inwood Terrace, Fort Lee.
