Welcome to the "Week in Review," a weekly column that highlights the top stories that took place in RiverDell including a presentation by Habitat for Humanity on the Oradell project and a proposal to change kindergarten classes in River Edge from a modified schedule to a full day schedule.

Unless the district begins receiving its full share of state aid, the Board of Education could be facing a a hefty shortfall based on current . Current estimates include $568,221 in revenue which is tempered by an increase of $259,674 to the tax levy. The district will be a better idea of where they stand with the budget once state aid amounts are released in 2012.
