1. Rain and Clouds: According to the National Weather Service, today will be rainy and cloudy with high around 44 degrees. There will be a northwest wind between 14 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Tonight will be cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 33 degrees. There will be a west wind between 14 and 16 mph.

3. MOPS: Attention all Mommies! Check out the story about the group Mothers of Preschoolers. They meet twice a week and dish out bagels, advice and camaraderie to women from all over Monmouth County. Click to read more.

4. Holiday Boutique: The Oceanic Free Library is hosting an Open House and Holiday Boutique tonight, from 6pm to 9pm. This even is in celebration of their interior improvement project completion and while you're there,  you can browse the tables of 17 vendors which are all local artists. Gifts include jewelry, pottery, home decor, oil & watercolor paintings, fiber arts etc. 20% of all sales will benefit the library. Every item is unique and hand-made. Refreshments served. 5. Hops and Chops: The Salt Creek Grille is hosting a beer tasting event tonight featuring micro brews from Long Island’s Blue Point Brewing Company – Gold and Silver winner of many Great American Beer Award, World Cup Beer Awards and others. There will be a specially prepared menu specifically created to showcase the microbrews nuances. Tickets are $45 per person excluding gratuity and tax. For reservations call (732) 933-9272.
