1. Rain Go Away: According to the National Weather Forcast, today will be filled with periods of heavy rain and a high near 66 degrees. It will be breezy with a east wind between 17 and 23 mph. Tonight, the showers continue with patchy fog and a low around 60 degrees. There will be a strong south wind between 14 and 16 mph.

2. Rain and Flooding: In what could be a one-day preview of potential nor'easters this fall, the Shore area will be socked with some possibly heavy rain. 3. Go Dawgs! Yesterday was the at Holmdel Park. Rachel Christ, a junior at took first place and scored the championship title for the school. According to the Asbury Park Press, he sprinted past the field, crossing the finish at 19:09, with an average mile time of 6:10, which was nearly a full 20 seconds faster than St. John Vianney’s impressive sophomore Tara Connelly, who clocked in at 19:28. Congrats to the Bulldog Girls!

4. Fashion and Fundraising: Two women started a fun, fashion fundraiser to for the fight against and six years later they are still rocking the runway for the cause. On Tuesday the annual “Runway for Recovery” was held at the Lounge at the Blue Bay Inn, located in Atlantic Highlands. “Runway for Recovery” is a not for profit organization that raises money for the fight against breast cancer and cancer research and features local breast cancer survivors as models.
