Candidates File For Rumson, Rumson-Fair Regional School Boards
Here are the Rumson candidates for the Board of Education and the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional Board of Education. Elections are Nov. 8.
RUMSON, NJ — Three candidates are seeking three, full-term seats on the Rumson Borough Board of Education.
The candidates are:
- Gillian Sahadi
- Lauren Finney
- Carolyn C. DeSen
There are two, full-term seats open for the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education.

The candidates are:
- Katherine "Katie" Thompson, incumbent
- Sarah Kiley
The list of candidates, filed on July 25, will not be official until after Sept. 6, as candidates may withdraw from the ballot before that date. New candidates may be placed on the ballot up until that date if new offices are to appear on the ballot, as provided by the school board administrator, said Monmouth County Assistant Supervisor for Elections Cassandra Achille.

The election for school board members is held on General Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8. School boards have until Sept. 9 to submit a public question to appear on the Nov. 8 ballot, Achille added.
