Friday Travel Advisory On Ocean Avenue In Rumson

RUMSON, NJ — The Borough of Rumson has issued a travel advisory for the morning of Friday, April 8, on Ocean Avenue and Route 36, according to borough officials.

The travel change will be implemented, weather permitting, due to utility work related to bridge replacement and approach roadway construction, the borough said.

The new bridge is being built alongside the existing bridge, ensuring that traffic flow and pedestrian access are maintained throughout the construction phase.

When the new movable bridge is finished, traffic will be directed to it, and the old bridge will be demolished.
