Why should you go: Celebrate a night out with just the girls this Friday night and donate to a good cause. The evening is for celebrating a happy and healthy living with the coming of spring. Attendees will enjoy food, fun, and favors all benefiting the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center

Why you should go: Unleash your artistic side with the opening reception of "Awakenings". The mixed medium art exhibit of local established and emerging artists, includinges Alan Barnett, Jill Caporlingua, Lauren Curtis, Ben Danzi, Jill Kerwick, Stephanie Condouris Kuhrt, Kathy Polenberg, and others. There will also be a special musical performance by The Aster Pheonyx Project.

When and where: Friday, March 16 at the Middletown Arts Center. The concert will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Why you should go: Get out with the kids and enjoy a concert that are an interactive blast of dancing and singing with Miss Sherri. The concert is recommended for child 4-year-old and over.

When and where: Saturday, March 17 at the . The celebration will go from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Why you should go: Enjoy a family friendly community event with a traditional Irish fare and live music. Children attendees will enjoy organized children’s games and activities until 7 p.m.

What does it cost: Tickets for adults are $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Tickets for teenagers ages 13-20 are $10 and children 12 and under are free.

When and where: Saturday, March 17 at the . Event starts at 6 p.m.

Why you should go: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a buffet and dancing to DJ Jimi. Buffet includes Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes, Chicken Marsala, Stuffed Shells and more. This event is also BYOB.

What does it cost: $25

When and where: Sunday, March 18 at the . The Egg Hunt will begin at 12:30 p.m. and continue until 3 p.m.

Why you should go: Join the Easter Bunny for lunch and then go and hunt for the gold and silver egg in addition to extra candy filled eggs.  

What does it cost: This event is free for all children under 12 years-old, a $7 donation for all others.
