Joyce B. Vernon Of Rumson Dies At 65

Joyce B. Vernon (nee Phillips), 65, of Rumson passed away on July 12, 2015 at Riverview Medical Center.

Joyce was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong residence of Rumson. She was the owner/operator of Rumson Art and Creative Writing & Marketing Services. Her passion was reading and writing.

Joyce was predeceased by her mother Aliene Phillips. She is survived by her brother Richard and his wife Christine Phillips, niece and nephews Ariane and Jeffrey Phillips and Michael Ball, aunt Doris Hulshart and her loving friends and neighbors.

Graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Friday July 17, 2015 at the Glendola Cemetery, 3302 Belmar Boulevard, Wall, NJ 07719. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Riggs Funeral Home, Forked River.
