Sea Bright, NJ - Just a reminder that the 14th annual Keith McHeffey Run will be Saturday, March 12 in Sea Bright.
Who is Keith McHeffey? He was a Rumson native who was killed in the 9/11 attacks. McHeffey died in the World Trade Center towers while at his job as a trader with Cantor Fitzgerald. McHeffey attended Forrestdale Middle School in Rumson, was a graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and worked at Donovan’s Reef in Sea Bright.
The 3-mile Fun Run and Walk is open to all: Kids, families and serious runners alike. Held in Sea Bright since 2002, the race usually draws a big crowd, and all the proceeds go to the KDM Foundation in order to support youth activities in the towns of Fair Haven, Rumson, and Sea Bright.
