Multiple Cars Burglarized In Rumson Over Weekend

RUMSON, NJ — Several cars were burglarized on Saturday night in Rumson, according to the police department.

"Last night there were car thieves in town who made numerous attempts at various locations to steal cars," police said.

None of the cars were stolen, as all of them had the key fobs removed by their owners.

However, some of the cars were unlocked and had personal belongings taken, including several garage door openers.

"Please remember to remove your key fob, personal belongings, and lock your car every time," police said.
