Point Beach's Popular Festival Of The Sea On Tap For Saturday

Event will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Point Pleasant Beach

Food vendors, crafters, musicians and just about everyone in the Point Pleasant Beach area is gearing up for the 38th annual Festival of the Sea and Street fair on Saturday.

The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Arnold and Bay Avenues in Point Pleasant Beach. The rain date is Sunday, but it probably won’t be needed. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s..

There will be plenty of food for visitors to sample, including clam chowder, lobster, steak and desserts, according to the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce’s website.

The event will also feature hundreds of vendors, arts and crafts, pony rides, games for kids and live music.
